Fast Forward to end of December 2009. I now have 4 kids and 6 months pregnant with #5. I need to get into some sort of daily routine to help me stay caught up with the never ending duties of mommy and homemaker. Then I thought of the daily e-mails I was still getting and deleting. Yes...Flylady. I can take babysteps and make a new daily routine to keep me on top of laundry and dishes and dusting! So I made it my 2010 goal to stick to Flylady.
At Bible Study I mentioned it to a friend while we were making our tea. She said that she loved Flylady but hadn't stuck to it very well lately. We chatted about how nice it was to get e-mail missions to do that day and how taking baby steps helps us to get things under control. But that's as far as we got with the conversation. A few weeks later at Bible Study I happened to mention Flylady to the group of girls and another friend said "I just found Flylady last week and I love her!". So through some chit chat we all shared how great the idea of it was and how we really should try to stick to it. So now in February 2010 I have 2 friends that I send the flylady mission to every day and through Facebook messages we keep each other accountable. Do I always complete the mission...no. I'm trying, but now that I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant I find my energy is zapped. But I "do what I can today and I do a little more tomorrow" (Flylady quote) and with encouragement from my friends I try to de-clutter my house, stay caught up with laundry and keep the layer of dust from collecting! Thank you Flylady for your baby steps...and helping us realize that the mess didn't appear overnight and it won't disappear overnight either (another flylady quote).
